Telfa AMD antimicrobial sponges are impregnated with pHMB (Polyhexamethylene Biguanide), a powerful, yet safe antiseptic that has broad range effectiveness against gram positive and gram negative microorganisms, including some multidrug resistant strains such as MRSA.
